Since the new DMCA exemption was approved by the Library of Congress, specifically allowing jailbreaking. I went ahead and gave it a try. It worked great. I have not looked through the apps yet but I have added some cool ring tones to my Iphone
It was very easy to do. All you have to do is browse on your Iphone to http://www.jailbreakme.com and it does all the work for you.

Warning:: Doing this could Brick your phone. I have not herd of this happening doing it this way. But you never know.
